At some point The Defenders have to be noticed by the Avengers or at least one of them. Im hoping Spiderman. Both are in New York. I cant wait for a fight between Spiderman & Daredevil. Spidey thinking thats hes a bad guy. Ohhh the Marvel Universe is the *beep* best

The MCU version of Spiderman would beat the hell out of Daredevil, easily.
Daredevil might have a chance against the lower tier guys like Hawkeye, Black Widow and Falcon.
If they go down the line of Steve Rogers has a team of Avengers as hinted at from the end of Civil War I could see the Defenders being recruited as the Avengers line up of Falcon Antman Hawkeye etc is far less fantastical than one involving Thor Iron Man and Hulk.
It's a shame Scarlett Johansson is playing Black Widow as the character has history with Daredevil and Punisher but I can't see the "highest grossing star of 2016" showing up on the Netflix series.
Not very likely. The problem is that the logistics of the production schedules make it infeasible to do such a crossover. Plus Marvel doesn't want to make any of the TV shows feel like "required viewing". That's why they have this general rule that the films can affect the writing of the TV shows, but not the other way around.
They could do such a crossover, but that would mean having to tell the Netflix writers to plan out their scripts much further in advance and I don't think it's productive to have to tell the Netflix writers that they could film their shows but have to have things so that a short cameo that doesn't add much to the plot will make sense.
Spider-Man had better never be an official Avenger. He should be a solo act that sometimes "teams up" with other heroes.
I would get behind a traditional story of "hey let's fight, wait you're a good guy too, let's team up" though.
