The accidental hypocrisy of the Punisher

During Matt's and Frank Castle's argument on the rooftop in "New York's Finest," Castle says, in regards to Matt's methods:

"You throw 'em in jail, everybody calls you a hero, right? And then a month, a week, a day later, they're back on the streets doing the same goddamn thing!

Fast forward a few episodes later, to Frank Castle himself getting into jail. What do you know, he's out within a few days without even actively trying, and proceeds to resume the same activities that got him put there in the first place. It's so ironic that he could use himself as an "I told you so!" to Matt, but this time, it's clear that the criminal being referred to, is no one but himself.

The thing is though Frank knows he is not a good man.

When Matt says on the boat. "Maybe just this once we do it your way." Which Frank looks at him shocked then says "there is no coming back from that."
