We all agree or least should agree, Daredevil is amazing TV and the best the genre has seen so far to date.
That being the case, why drag to release season three? Yes, get it right but place it ahead of a Punisher spin off or more Jessica Jones that NO ONE is clamoring for after the abysmal first season of her show.
Meanwhile shows like Arrow, The Flash etc get so many seasons, a show like DD is kept on ice! Really annoying! Good stuff always comes in tiny bits!

There's no "drag" here. In fact season 2 was a bonus of sorts. The plan is and always was to build up to Defenders and go from there. All these Netflix shows (so far) are part one larger Defenders project.
And the other shows do actually have people that like them as well.
Marvel knows what they are doing.

While Daredevil is the best Comic Book TV Show currently out, it is part of bigger universe and the goal was always to build the 1st seasons of the Marvel Netflix shows to The Defender's and they've done that! Which is amazing in and of it's self. That fact that we got S2 of Daredevil before that just shows how much the audience enjoyed S1!
The only reason S3 is on hold is due to The Defender's being filmed! It requires all the actor's/writer's/producer's attention and time. As they are wrapping that up now they will go on the produce the next seasons of each character's shows. They definitely will begin production on Daredevil S3 this year and it'll be out in 2018. It's just a matter of timing is all.

It really is---I finally started watching it, and now I'm hooked on it---it's really deep and more than just another superhero show--I like it. Can't wait to finish S1.
