netflix set the bar for action scenes in daredevil and now they ruin it
i still remember watching the first season of daredevil back in 2015. it had alot of fight scenes and all of them were well choreographed. the thing that made it stand out from the rest of the action shows/movies was that they the camera was standing and the martial arts was real. jessica jones wasent about action so it barely had any cuz it was a more of a detective thriller.daredevil season 2. once again succeeded in the same style of action scenes but in the second half that where they got sloppy then came luke cage and with this you can say the action scenes started to get sloppy. suddenly we dident got the same camera standing style we got on daredevil but alot of quick cuts and shaky cam. but on the bright side. luke cage was the kind of hero that dident needed any martial arts scenes. hes just a big stone. so all the scenes where in
the style where he get shot milion times and just throw the bad guys wherever he wanted
but now we got to the big one. the iron fist netflix show. this one suppose to be THE center of martial arts. this based on a comics that is all about martial arts. you expect them to shine here the most right? i mean it is the iron fist. the big martial artist of the marvel universe. inspired by kung fuu. you expect perfection. no less. i mean this is a tv series not a movie so nobody expect big cgi scenes. because tv shows tends to be more practical
now. behold the utter disappointment. the worst fight scene i have ever seen. in a show that suppose to be all about martial arts
