Does anyone get the feeling of the bed shaking back and forth, like when you flip a pencil between your fingers? I always had that when I experienced sleep paralysis. It always happened while I was falling asleep and would kick off my sleep paralysis.
shareYes! That has happened to me during the past several episodes, but I have not heard anyone else mention about the bed shaking during their sleep paralysis. Mine starts with a feeling like the bed is shaking, then I hear a very loud sort of roar/buzzing before I see a dark menacing figure at the foot of my bed. I've only ever had about 10 episodes in my life over the past several years (thank goodness), but when they started I saw a dark figure hovering in front of my window to my right and no bed shaking sensation. Then suddenly it switched to my bed....very bizarre and creepy.

Yep I experience the shaking bed, or someone touching me, hearing someone walking as well as the visual hallucinations. Occasionally, I'll get the weird one where I feel like I'm falling into deep sleep waaaaaay too fast. Like I'm being sucked into death.....it's weird.
I think I see where they got Nightmare on Elm Street from!
