"you see, you see, you see..."


Very annoying that Ed Harrris (the narrator) keeps prefacing so many statements with "y'see,..."

We're not children and we're not your underlings Ed, you don't need to phrase things in that condescending fashion.

If you listen to anything he says after it, it's completely redundant to add "y'see" beforehand. Yes, we 'see'. You don't need to keep alerting us.

Why not just have done with it and tack "know what I mean?" onto the end of every other sentence?

I don't think he's being condescending. It's just a verbal bad habit he has that he's probably not even aware of.

A bad habit that a paid narrator in a professional production should not have, and it should be called out.
