still happening?
i found links vaguely saying the film had started filming earlier this year, in greece and bulgaria, but i cant find anything specific about the cast and/or crew. is this movie actually happening?

Time to put a bullet in this wasted opportunity of a franchise.
Ex1 was okay, and I loved 2. I just wanted to shout 'Boo! Hiss!' every time Van Damme was onscreen! All he was missing was a moustache for him to twirl! π But 3 was...poor.
sharei just watched them all back to back. Ex1 was probably my least favorite. it was a bland, boring, cliche, by-the-books action movie script that should've been given to steven Seagal on $5 million budget. it had every opportunity to be a badass modern-day action epic with an all-star cast, but it's just so run-of-the-mill.
Ex2 is a bit better, but not amazing. it is a bit more silly and JCVD is a fun villain, but the movie is so grey and ugly to look at.
Ex3 has by far the worst action. that opening action scene is atrocious! but the middle section of the movie is okay. Mel Gibson is actually my favorite villain of the franchise. the rest of the movie is pretty forgettable, and the dialog banter between the new recruits is abysmal.
