Looooved the Atmosphere

Truly this is what sets this movie apart n higher from other horror films! It was like Nightmare!! Like watching a real disturbing Autopsy n u happen to be there.

It was a good one indeed!
The only thing they really should have avoided is Cox explaining what the background of the plot is in the latter part of the movie.
It was needless as it ruined an otherwise minimalist approach to storytelling that worked for the most part (plus all movies should just trust their audience to make their own conclusions).
And it was completely out of character for someone who was established as a scientist who wouldn't commit to making a statement before gathering all evidence. Yet suddenly he is blabbering about Salem's trials and what if they made her into what she wasn't and so on...

Yes I agree....the atmosphere was good and I like when horror movies is made with atmosphere instead of just juvenile cheap jump scares like most lame horror movies today...this felt more old school from Carpenters glory days...this is how horror should be made and not like those retarded and really bad Lights out and Annabelle to name to lousy horror movies that only goes for cheap jump scares.

~If the realistic details fails, the movie fails~

Yeah, I think the atmosphere and Brian Cox's performance are really what saved this movie in the end.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. A review of the movie here-https://youtu.be/v5RZtsKxjy4
