Just the fact that Courtney Love never sued Tom Grant to this day...

When someone explicitly and publicly accuses you of being responsible/instigator of a high profile murder, the most sensible thing to do is to sue him, expecially if you are allegedly innocent and he allegedly doesn't have any real evidence of your guilt and you certainly have no financial difficulties to hire an army of super lawyers to defend your cause in a tribunal.
Courtney Love never did any of that with Tom Grant and that's higly suspicious. someone could even think she doesn't want this case to be on the spotlight and have people's attention on her and she doesn't want to give a sworn statement of non guilt.

Even the former Seattle chief of police thinks the case should be re-opened and re-examined.

Courtney's best strategy is to simply ignore everything and hope it goes away. But it will never go away of course. Murder is murder.

I agree. Not to mention her long history of suing, threatening, or attacking people for real or imagined slights. Her behavior towards Tom Grant is completely mystifying. The only explanation that makes sense is that (like Grant himself says) she is scared to face him in court because he has the goods on her.

How many people has she actually sued?

reply

she said quite mean things about her fashion designer and her attorney but she's strangely silent about Grant, a guy who is accusing her of murder...

"Not to mention her long history of suing" - how many people has she sued?

I have never reported any threads on this board. I only report abusive/racist posts on IMDb and thankfully we've all been civil with each other on the SiB page so I haven't had to report anything.

Nor am I a paid by anyone. I have no idea why this accusation is thrown around against people who speak out against the murder theory. It's nonsense and really shows how deap down the rabbit hole people are. I might as well accuse you of being paid by Grant and Statler which would also be nonsense.

reply

you're the one that told me that Courtney never sued Grant because he always played bait and switch while Grant explicitly and publicly accused her of murder.
this is a macroscopic oversight for someone supposedly informed about the facts and enough to question your objectivity about the case (and the reason for your position).

reply

I'm not sure who told you that but it certainly wasn't me. I believe that Courtney WANTS to sue but has been advised not to. Why risk it? When Grant first came out with the claims not many people were aware or even believed him. Why would she bother giving him more publicity? It's only been getting a bit of traction now because of this film and even then it's still debatable how many people actually think it's true.

Also, it's not only Courtney and the Nirvana estate at risk, it's also Rosemary Carrol as she really screwed up. Her career would be at risk (especially back then).
