Is this show really as good as everyone says?

I thought it was good.

Yep. Same. 2 episodes in, still don't know what the characters' goals are. Some stranded astronauts having debate; a space detective having no idea what he's doing; some bureaucrats all talk and no action. And the hypnotizing music score just putting you to sleep. Terrible show.

It's a little slow but it's very unique on TV right now and it's in a mostly unexplored era in general in medias (just after the beginning of space flight). While the in-space special effects are great, the biggest problem with the show right now (beside the muffled mostly inaudible dialogue sound) are the terrible and obviously low-budget space stations/ships interiors. It really takes the spectator out from the action because it looks like sci-fi shows from the 90's (Sea Quest, Stargate...). I'll still watch season 2 and hopefully it will improve.

I would say yes. I think it's a great show.

Overall it was good. The episodes around when they go aboard the warship are fantastic.
