so the version I watched ended with Simon having a vision of the dam bursting over the town and then running off down the road but it seemed like a really inconclusive ending. I get leaving the season on a cliffhanger but it just felt like the middle of an episode rather than the end of the last one.

I just want to check that that was the ending that everyone saw and there is not another episode.

Yeah, you got screwed like the rest of us who watched this series basically.

A cliffhanger and no ending --ever.

It's why I hate taking chances by watching new shows. If you get invested and they cancelled it after just a season or two, you're screwed.

They said that the towns and the people disappear so it should have ended with the dam bursting.
