French characters vs English-good or bad casting

I thought that the actress India Ennengra for the character Camille was a good choice. Other than the blonde hair, she looked fairly like Yara Pilartz. The French actress for Lena (Jenna Thiam) actually looked like she could have been an older sister of the actress Yara Pilartz, while with the English Lena played by Sophie Lowe only had the long blonde hair and the fact that she looked older by being taller. The Enlish actress for the mother Claire (Tandi Wright) was a good choice, looking very similar to the French actress Anne Consigny. I know that the American version of this series is located somewhere in America, thus the need for more "American" sounding names... but Jerome and Jack are only similar with the first letter of each name. The actor in the American version, Mark Pellegrino is a good actor but I guess I was just used to the French version of that character. Plus, after watching Supernatural and seeing this actor in this series, it's hard to imagine him playing something other than Lucifer.

I'm not sure why they chose to change some of the other names of the characters, like "Rowan" instead of "Adele" (which to me could be English) or even "Peter" instead of "Pierre" since some of the other characters' names were French sounding: Pilar, Chloe, Camille....

Anyway... for those who haven't watched either version yet, whatever you do... watch the French version first!!
