Didn't see the point

This appears to be the third documentary on this company and scandal, not that any were needed given the amount of reporting has already been done on the topic. This show did not reveal anything particularly new or interesting either.

It's very slick with all the music and graphic animation. They do talk to people who worked there behind the scenes and also a few actual users of the site (that is, cheaters) agreed to talk, but they're not particularly compelling.

It uses sometimes that technique I do not like, that of showing one of the persons interviewed actually doing something. For example, they show one woman going through her husband's mail and discovering signs he may have been having an affair. But no camera was present when she was actually doing that, of course. This is a recreation. It's acting. So basically fraudulent and detracting from the credibility of the doc.

If they had managed to figure out who hacked that site, now that would have been interesting. But no, after three episodes you still don't know.

So I recommend skipping it.
