Perhaps, but why would she resort to that ridiculous costume? 😎
I can only assume because people do strange things after the apocalypse and that Kristen Wiig is good at playing off-kilter characters. I was going to suggest it was the best thing for camouflage, but if she was thinking along those lines, she'd also likely hold still.

Of course the real reason she did it is because the writers thought the whole Yoda thing was funny. 😎
I think she (Kristen Wiig) wears the costume to protect her self from germs. Whereas the main group all survived because they are immune to the virus, Wiig likely believes that she survived because she was careful to avoid contact with infected people.
