Should a famous celeb make an entrance..

..playing themselves? would be fun..they wasted that chance with Will Ferrell..my choice would be someone like The Hoff or maybe even Jason Bateman for a few episodes then kill them off abruptly....bit similar to when 'bill Murray' played himself in Zombieland..

Nah, Gilligan's Island already did that. You don't want to repeat something so recent. They'd accuse you of ripping them off.

I vote for Susan Boyle.

When a show starts having celebrity cameos it usually means its headed downward in the ratings and burning out.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

reply

Henry Winkler, then?

I would love to see them recreate some of the scenes from "30 Years of Science Down the Tubes".

reply

Gilligan's Island was 50 years ago; how does that qualify as recent? It's quite literally been half a century

It doesn't. Not even a little bit.

reply

Regis Philbin...that guy has been around forever.

reply

I wouldn't be opposed to Will Arnett popping up.

Barack Obama turns up, creating a lengthy argument as to whether he is President since his term of office ended in 2016, and the group have had several elections since then.

reply

Maybe not Barack, but I think it would be interesting to have a former president or important official show up, but they are not interested in power or rebuilding...like they just want to hang out and screw around.

reply

They should add Larry David as himself, but keep him around long term, but not focus on it, after the initial meeting just have everyone be real non chalant about it.

I'd like to see them come across Larry, who is happily living alone without anyone to bug him. Then they drive him crazy, and he takes off to search for solitude. As a bonus, he just as he thinks he's found the right place, Suzy shows up.

reply

Maybe have them not know who Larry is. He tells them he wrote Seinfeld and they don't believe him. Think he's crazy.

reply

That's actually pretty hilarious.

"Sure you wrote it. The show was called Seinfeld, right?"

reply

"Hey Larry, you know that movie, Dances With Wolves? I'm the animal trainer that taught the wolf how to dance", Tandy said. The whole gang busted up laughing and Larry got furious. Yelled at them to shut up, stop laughing.

reply

there's something fishy going on here. i don't know what. but when i find out, i'm not going to like it. i just can't place my finger on what it is.

reply

It would be great if Jason Sudeikis came on the show and played himself and they never addressed that he looks exactly like Phil's brother.

reply

At risk of repeating myself (I've said it before), I'd like to see Keith Richards be a guest. Last man on earth? He could come in a Lear Jet. He knows how to pilot it because he's been in so many. He talks to guitars like Phil did his balls. Then he could get in the Lear Jet and go back to England for some reason. Like maybe copy Phil's idea and go to paint "LIVE AT LEEDS" on billboards all over England.

reply

Or, Paul McCartney.

But, something is "off" about him and the group can't figure it out.

And, then, after a few episodes they find out he's actually a robot.

If it's rock stars it's gotta be Ray Davies. His music has been a central part of the show so far, and dare I say it, he'd be less expensive than the other two.
