Wrecking Stuff
You know, one of the things that is starting to bug me about the show is how the characters just wreck everything they come across. I mean, at first, when Tandy thought he was alone he would wreck stuff just because he was bored. And, I suppose, he thought that there was a limitless amount of stuff to break.
But then, he met other people and the group started trying to build a society. And things started to run out and go bad, so there was not a limitless supply of stuff. They did kind of start respecting their surroundings.
And now, after three years of roughing it with camp stoves and sponge baths, they find a self-sustaining building which has everything that they need. And, what do they do, they start right off wrecking everything again. The improvised showers from the sprinkler system will quickly drain all the stored water since there is no way to shut them off. And Tandy's playing hockey with all the dishes. And they are screwing with the electrical system and have no way to fix it if they break it. And Gail's shooting out windows.
I mean, come on. They just stumbled onto a miracle that could keep them living in luxury for the rest of their lives and they are just wrecking it.
