I love(d) this is,,,,but

this season is such a downer. Not at all funny. Even Sunday Funday was depressing. and that's just wrong.

Let's hope in season three, they get Gretchen some new meds and some humor.

If it wasn't for Edgar and Dorothy, and some great comedy relief from Sam,, this show would be unwatchable.

I disagree with everything you said. It's great to see a show tackle clinical depression so realistically.

This season was one of the best seasons of any TV show I have ever watched. So realistic and beautiful.

But the show is suppose to be a comedy, not a drama.

It's supposed to be a dark comedy. You are supposed to feel uncomfortable laughing at the things they show and do.

This season they are showing why Jimmy is a douche-bag and why Gretchen is so messed up, etc. And, that is ruining the show because it is falling into the typical, sitcom formula - "Show some background on the characters so the audience starts to understand and sympathize with them."

Last season was great because they are all cr*ppy without making any excuses and didn't look for any sympathy.

But wasn't it just fantastic that Jimmy is maturing and stayed with Gretchen even though she refuses to get any help? Awwwww.....
