Love It!

Loving this show. I don't get why people are not enjoying this due to its dramatic turn.
I think the viewers are put in a similar position as the lead guy; will you stay with something even if it took morose turn or leave.

I'm staying,

Because the first season was about all of them being cr*ppy all of the time - no excuses. Someone might do something reasonably nice for someone else, but it wasn't a "sitcom ending" where they'd hug and feel the connection they just made.

Now it is becoming that. We got to see why Jimmy is the way he is (his family) and why Gretchen is the way she is - and, awwwwwww, isn't it sweet that Jimmy really isn't as incredibly shallow and immature as we've seen. "You staaaaaaayyyyed." 

It was either this or turn into always sunny. I like always sunny but we already have that. This is a nice change.

Exactly. Jimmy, Gretchen, and Lindsay are/were definite contenders for being "the worst" but they have redeeming qualities. The gang at Paddy's, except maybe Charlie and especially Dennis, are beyond redemption. That show could never have a heartwarming scene, except maybe the birth of Dee's surrogate child which was really a reflection of the birth of Kaitlin and Rob's first son.
