They weren't in every episode the other two seasons. I do feel like they have to be in at least one episode though as they provide something the others don't.
shareI think Becca rounds out the competition for who is "the worst", while Becca & Vernon's relationship contrasts Gretchen&Jimmy and Lindsay&Paul.
