Since when is threesome so common?

First of all, I love this show, especially, of course Lindsey. So, this is just about one particular episode, I think you know which one. Jimmy didn't have threesome, ever, and they all act like it's something extremely unusual and weird. Is it really? Is threesome really that common and almost everyone had it? I don't like how Gretchen and that coworker of hers presented it like Jimmy said he never brushed his teeth or never kissed a girl. Somehow, that kinda insulted me, though I am not sure why. Maybe because it seems like it says all those that didn't have threesome are prude, incapable or just plain boring. Like it something highly unusual and you must be real loser not to have it.

You are confusing THEIR world with the real world.

I'm sure in their drug-filled, morally bankrupt society that it is unusual for someone to not have had a 3-way.

For the rest of the world, it is more unusual when someone has had a 3-way.

Not that people never have them, they just aren't as casual about them as the way Gretchen was.

I understand, but to me Jimmy does not look part of that world nearly as much as Gretchen. He seems almost kinda normal, compared to others. Maybe I forgot some scenes, which would not be unusual for me, but he does not seem into drugs (that much) and he does not look that morally bankrupt. He actually gave home to his friend for free, and he did not accept that girl's from the bar (forgot name, looks kinda like Sandra Bullock) very straightforward advances, though he easily could.

It only seems that way because Jimmy is more reclusive than Gretchen. She's out with the band at parties and that stuff, whereas Jimmy is more the kind to do it up at home or get hammered at a bar.

But they're both into drugs even to the point of trying new ones from strangers.

I got that the girls were shocked. On the flip side, Jimmy was shocked about not washing legs......they live in an odd world.

Its anecdotal. In a way we all come from different worlds. What may be normal for some may not be normal for others. I relate with Gretchen more while my husband is more like Jimmy but even milder.
