Agreed. Everyone had to go to the same library, somehow figure out the name of the song on the sheet music in the photo, somehow determine that they need to go to the foot clinic, harass the guy so he drops the briefcase (or would he give it to you if you didn't harass him as Jimmy wondered?), answer the pay phone, realize the key is for the briefcase, have knowledge of the old railway, somehow see the QR code on the van (how close was that to where Paul met them?), force their way into the house, and be there long enough to be "arrested".
The setup is also virtually impossible. Having someone walking around with a briefcase (with multiple briefcase available as scavengers can be expected to leave with one), making the pay phone ring when scavengers are near it, rigging it to dispense keys (unless they dispense in a specific order, all keys need to have the same pattern and all briefcases need to have interchangeable locks), having fake police (or real ones in on it) respond quickly & prepared to transport a sizeable group of people, and what looks like a real police station. The bum attracting scavengers' attention to take their picture isn't necessary. Suppose multiple groups were at a location at the same time resulting in one thwarting the other, following their lead, or one group being scared off when they arrive as another was being "arrested".

are you seriously taking the scavenger hunt seriously? Its supposed to be fantasy, silly, totally IMPOSSIBLE.... they try to stay as realistic as possible but the show creator says when they are in the writers room they have such creative weird ideas that are implausible and they can't help themselves they are having so much fun writing it they let it go and know their resident weirdo audience will not think too much of it , who should know by now that this show is all about ridiculousness, so we should just ride along with it. Haven't you noticed little things pop in some of the episodes that seem totally not realistic... like when gretchen and jimmy went out and partied and woke up with a vending machine in the house, how they treat the boy that lives across the street , lindsay stabbing paul - its just used for dark comedy, stabbing anyone in real life would be in jail...Paul would know he didn't back up into it and so many other "Fantasy" MOMENTS
ITS RIDULOUS, FUN and I LOVE IT.
I loved the episode because without Jimmeh they wouldn't have been able to figure out anything.
