Not as good as last season
This season isnt as good as last season. Not as hard hitting and the jokes are kinda stale.

shareAgreed. I'm finding that a lot of it feels really forced and unnatural. Like, "Let's put these characters into this situation," rather than, "This is what these characters would do." And this isn't as funny as having the situations be natural outgrowths of who they are as people, which this show did really, really well in its first two seasons.
One shining, excellent episode this season, and it was a dramatic one, from a regular but fairly minor character's POV. The ones that are trying (way too hard) to be comedy... I'm finding myself giving them anywhere from 3-5 on IMDb's rating system, and I've dropped my rating for the show overall from 8 to 6.
I'll probably watch out the season, but it's more because I like the cast and I hope it might hit its stride again, rather than that I'm really enjoying it right now.

I still like the show but man, season 2 was amazing. From the balance of drama to comedy. They way they dedicated an episode to their neighbors. It was great.
shareI started watching it in Season 2 and really liked it, especially when the mid-season pivot took place. I was just on Wikipedia reading this year's episode summaries, and I just realized that I don't think I've liked any of the episodes so far this year. The closest one that I sort of liked was the episode that focused on Edgar and his dealing with PTSD. After looking at all of this season's episodes, and with five more still to go (as of this writing), I suddenly reached the epiphany that I'm probably done watching it. Since most of these types of series typically go 8-10 episodes, I'll usually hang in there, even if I don't like it. But "You're the Worst" has 13 episodes, and I'm not sure I really want to plow through 5 more episodes when I don't even like it.
shareThat seems reasonable. I mean, you gave it a fair shake.
I do recommend the first season, though, if you never did see it. The early development is a LOT of fun for the viewer.
