Dr. Ken said that his "Resident Julie left to do a pediatric fellowship" so I'm guessing she's not going to be back.

I liked Julie, she was funny. I haven't been able to find out why she's not on the show this year, whether it was the show wanting to drop the character or the actress wanting to leave.

I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it.

Absolutely agreed. I was just watching epi.3 of the 2nd season, and was wondering why the office scene wasn't annoying me like it used to. Didn't dislike the actress, but the character was very annoying and extreme.

Demonstrating how different people view the same thing differently, it was that scene that made me realize she was a big part of what made the show funny for me. You wondered why the office scene wasn't annoying you, I wondered why it was so boring. I'd happily change back to having her as a regular character and Ken's Dad as a recurring, but alas, it is not meant to be. Gruff unloving Father figure who deep down really does love his kid is NOT a regular character, it's a 3 or 4 episodes per season at the most character.

I'm not sure I like the new show and don't imagine the season pass is going to last much longer.

It took me a while to notice, as I only watch this show occasionally when I'm caught up on other shows.
But I was like where is Julie part way through the season. She was a bit over the top and could be annoying, but I do think it is more boring and miss her character. More from the other characters is not a good thing.

The office scenes still annoy me whenever Pat is there. He is so annoying. The entire show is annoying. I only watch this show because my husband and daughter like it.

Dr. Julie was the most annoying. A Dr not knowing about sex? Really? 

I'm thinking for budget reasons. Usually when shows get picked up past the first season, there are small pay raises everyone gets and the producers probably could only afford it if they cut someone.
