aaron...desperate?
I just saw the trailer yesterday. I am kinda disappointed Eckhart would agree to do this film - I hope he was paid well. Looks soooo cookie-cutter!!!

shareIts a Blumhouse, so he is not guaranteed a big paycheck. Budget is probably around a million and he is probably getting a percentage of profits. I personally liked the trailer.
share"I, Frankenstein" was where it all went wrong, i think.
I actually liked BATTLE: LOS ANGELES, but a lot of people feel that was his turning point to where he is at now.
Too bad. I got to meet him at the Toronto Film Festival years ago and i thought he was a cool guy.
"Luke Skywalker has vanished."
He's not a very engaging actor especially when he tries to pull off the angry/tough guy kinda stuff. Just not very convincing in some of the roles he's had of late.
He's a great Harvey Dent but not Two-Faced and not Frankenstein.
I'll still probably see the movie because I just love going to the movies.Too bad there isn't more quality out there.
I think his career is just fine. Sure he has taken on a few of these smaller films that critics are eager to hate, but outside of that, he was just in Sully(where he could easily be nominated for an Oscar) and Bleed for This.
He was never a box office draw, and I doubt he ever will, but he has had a solid career so far, and if he keeps it up, he will add several more memorable films to his filmography before its over.
