In a way, this is a take on Luke Perry's "Night Visions" episode 'Now He's Coming Up the Stairs' about a psychic "exorcist" who must try to break a curse on a kid who's stuck in a loop of terror. It's actually not a bad episode. If you haven't seen it or the show (it's like Twilight Zone but hosted by Henry Rollins), check it out.
