Why's the kid from 'Gotham' look so young in this?

It finished filming in 2013.

To be honest in Gotham they make him look older with his clothes and haircut. That's why with longer hair and normal clothes he look like a kid of his age.

Re-shoots. Most likely due to the kid's busy schedule on top of Aaron's, the production crew probably didn't have too much luck scheduling additional photography. On top of that, the film probably wasn't testing well so there was lots of tinkering going on in editing if I had to guess.
