shareTrumbo may have been a communist but he didn't try to convert anyone to his politics. I think he really was more of a democratic socialist, like Bernie Sanders. Trumbo was concerned about racism for instance. He was accepting of others but kept his beliefs about a better world through support and sharing to himself.

What that means if you think about it is that socialism is really democracy, but they cannot show they are against democracy so they have to call it communism. Voting, and democracy in our government they don't want. Voting and democracy at work where corporations are tyrannies that tends towards slavery and zero wages ... all socialism.
The power elite want no regulation and nothing to be above them in power as they drive the planet towards destruction, because they think they can always escape to somewhere where it will be OK. They don't care anything about the rest of us or the environment - only their power and control.
