How many times do they have to show her in lingerie, half naked??? In how many scenes? I felt like it was very sexist and voyeuristic. From a female director no less.....hmmmm.

shareSpeaking of sexist: I cannot believe a movie from this century had a scene featuring a man teaching a woman how to masturbate. He was literally explaining to an adult woman how her body works....And most offensive, mentions the clitoris last.
Tellingly, he speaks of "the mistake most men make with the clitoris is". Dude, this is a solo trip. Men's mistakes are immaterial.
He was supposed to be a bit of a sexist creep, but here the movie itself felt sexist. Like this guy is the expert on female sexual response from both the female and male perspective. Get lost.
I completely agree with you. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that a woman wrote and directed this film and thought that scene was a good idea. I like the rest of the movie but that scene is really obnoxious.
