I mean, seriously? The movie ends like almost all others, with the woman the sole survivor.

Also:

#1 - I cannot believe everyone is dumb as heck in the movie - especially the husband, the wife and the teenage boy

#2 - It should've ended with the wife and husband saving each other

#3 - Killing Pornstache is a crime.

#4 - It's a terrible Eden Lake ripoff with a worse female character

#5 - Why make the movie so predictable its ending cna be guessed from the ONE-SHEET?

your number #5 and #2 contradict eachother: the wife and husband saving each be what everyone would be very predictable if that happned.

The movie was bad but tbh I think the ending was not predictable. For instance, who would have predicted a nearly silent last 20 minutes? Or that her husband would die?

Maybe in older movies, or even a modern big-budget H'wood film, but not in this kind of indie horror. The lone female survivor is a cliché; about the only thing more clichéd would have been to have the wife die at the end as well, preferably just as she and we thought she was safe, by some previously unknown or resurrected villain or a totally random event. Irony, you know. Few indie filmmakers can resist ladling it on like gravy on biscuits at a Delta diner.

#5 All slasher flicks are incredibly predictable and tropey. And that is essentially what this film is, a slasher with guns.

Damn I came here to say exactly what you said......the woman is always the sole survivor. In fact when it started, I said okay, well, I already know the men will die and the woman will become tough overnight and survive.

I think it's time for a new formula. This one played out years ago.
