She has to have something to live for after her boyfriend gets killed. apparently saving herself isn't enough for filmmakers. Women only care about other people SMH

Totally agree - as another commenter already said I also did forsee her taking the pregnancy test out before she did it :D

And it would also be refreshing to see in some horror (or any) movie, that it is not a husband who is overcommited to his job instead of relationship and wife who is feeling unhappy and complaining about it but the other way around - it would be a wow-moment :)

In 'Detour' (2009) the girl peed in the woods, no pregnancy test with her, but someone did take a photo of her peeing... 
