Why do people insist on referring to the quality of acting in adult entertainment as being the nadir of thespian art? They always seem to be people who have no experience with porn, drawing uneducated conclusions. Do you think it’s easy to feign passion and summon intimate juices with a partner you may not like? You probably can’t do that in your own marriage. No: the WORST acting is found in no-budget independent films where the cast comprises all of the Director’s best friends, and the movie makes no money. By contrast, the average ROI for an adult feature is 3,000 PERCENT. Not a typo. THREE THOUSAND PERCENT. Hollywood would kill to get that ROI. The performers in adult entertainment know exactly what they are doing, and what they are doing is much more difficult than what squares can imagine.
