The Asians don't look very Asian if you know what I mean

Looks like the producers cast the "whitest" looking Asians they could find.
They all look to have had that "round eye" operation so they don't look anything like a typical Chinese person that you would come across in your cities Chinatown.

Henry Golding is half Asian which explains his "whiteness". Awkwafina doesn't have round eyes. The rest of the actors look Asian to me, but they're also supposed to be rich, successful and good-looking. They don't look like a typical Chinese person in Chinatown any more than actors in most Hollywood movies look like a typical person in a random city.
