The Suit Made Me Laugh Hard

I absolutely hated RED STATE. The characters were annoying, especially Michael Parks cult leader. That being said, this movie was slow moving to start, but once it becomes clear what is going to happen to Wallace (and the subsequent creature reveal) the movie started to become entertaining. Johnny Depo was particularly amusing, but the thing that made me laugh the most was when Wallace is first seen as the walrus. That suit is hilarious. Walruses in general are funny looking anyway, so this human skin version was just hysterical. I have a hard time believing Smith's intention was to make this a straight horror film. It wasn't horrifying. It was laughably grotesque, hence the laughter I experienced.
