It's fun, with a good performance from JCVD
Come on, this is supposed to be a fun time, and it delivers. I don't think it deserves the low ratings (atm it's got about a 4) that it is getting. It's not meant to be an Oscar contender. JCVD plays Leo, an assuming gardener working at the vacation home of a government bureaucrat. When assassins come to do dark business, Leo has to reveal his very particular skills from a past life. It's done with a good amount of comedy, and satisfying action and thrills. Just enjoy it and don't be too critical. JCVD actually plays a quiet and understated bad-ass character here. I would not mind a sequel to this fun movie.
