I hate how this was presented…
It wasn’t presented as a true documentary, but more like an episode of Unsolved Mysteries with bad acting in reenacted scenes.
I didn’t know the story was true, but the badly re-enacted scenes had me questioning whether the story actually happened or not. I thought the filmmakers were messing with the viewers and making some kind of spoof of true crime documentaries.
If you’re going to make a documentary, make an actual documentary. This became annoying really quickly.
