He made a face and went "blecchh" when he lifted the lid. I paused on it. It was mashed potatoes, corn, rice pilaf and meatloaf with gravy. It looked pretty damn good. Why not just make it boiled cabbage or something, that's generally not considered good. I don't know why I found that so odd.🤷♂️
I have more times than most. The stereotype of bad hospital food is decades outdated and incorrect in most instances. Unless you are required to have bland food for some dietary reason, they serve what the staff eats from the cafeteria. 9 out of 10 times it's damn good. And that's irrelevant,because axel didn't even try it, but it looked fine.
Funny, I visited my friend in hospital some weeks ago and he complained about the food there so another friend that I went along with had to order takeout for him even though the menu looked decent. I mean it isn't fine dining but it's still edible and all right.
