Having been a fan of giallo films for quite some time, I'm always excited to see what people come up with for modern giallo. This film is more of a tribute to the giallos of old. It's not a perfect film. I was a little confused by the ending, but overall found it very entertaining and a lot of fun.
sharei'm not as enthusiastic as you are, but i definitely really dug the style of this thing & appreciated the effort made to recreate that giallo vibe.
unfortunately for me, both times i've watched this i have absolutely been unable to stay interested in it. i fell out of its grasp after about 20m & it never picked me up again.
it's definitely worth a look for genre fans for sure, but i can't quite completely embrace it.
