What did you think about the added Elizabeth/Robert romance?

Same here. Surprised that I actually liked it. I think the actress was so charismatic I actually was rooting for her. Unlike in the previous films where, as talented as they may be, the leading ladies had the charisma of a plank.

It added nothing to the story, it was a filler for the heroine since they changed the ending

Every time she was on screen it was bugging me where I saw the actress before. Think she was the cop in Signs best I can figure.

Heh. Considering she's about to be the lead in the next Star Wars movie and Disney is pretty good at its marketing job, you saw her recently, for sure.

I didn't hate it. Seemed like a like minute twist to soften the blow of our lead turning villain on us, and to give some happy closure to Langdon since they'll probably not make another one of these. Just felt last minute and rushed.
