Ep1 - so far so good

I just wanted to eat crow and admit that I enjoyed all 30 minutes of the first episode. Somewhere on this board I called Mark Duplass a bad actor and he has been in most everything I've experienced.

Well I'm here to say that in this particular setting, with this cast, and the writing, Mark delivered both as an actor, a writer and a show creator. I will continue to watch the show and looking forward to the developing story lines.

I know I'm not a blip on the radar but I am a convert(for now) and I hope this shows does the same to others!!

(BTW, I've rented "The One I love" and "Safety not guaranteed" for further analysis)

i don't really get the hate for Mark Duplass. i think he has a natural presence on screen, and i find myself easily accepting the characters he inhabits. he plays the sensitive man quite well. he's really excellent in both The One I Love and Safety Not Guaranteed (the latter especially, which is a damn good movie).

anyway, i'm totally on board with Togetherness. the characters are interesting and the chemistry between all of them is palpable. i'm looking forward to watching the rest.

I just watched "Safety Not Guaranteed" Good movie. My impression of him is building

"Tammy" was just a glorious disaster I can't shake...
