Gets top notch people to do television shows and then cancel the show. Enlightened was cancelled and that show by Christopher Guest was cancelled and I'm sure Getting On will be getting the boot also. Togetherness doesn't seem like the kind of show that HBO will keep around for very long. HBO cancels lots of great shows.
shareAre you an insider or predicting a show's demise based on HBO's past poor decision making? Getting On is popular and I cannot see it not being renewed. Doll and Em was fantastic but they just did not promote it enough. Maybe not enough estrogen in those meetings. Hint hint.

I tried to watch Enlightened but it never hooked me. I can't stand Getting On. I don't really get it. I watched half of an episode and it just grated on me.

Imho tho, Enlightened was cute but, u know, very boring at times & so-so slo-paced, i mean it's not just if u identify urself to the star of the show that the show zanygood u know?.
I also miss Enlightened, but in truth, it ran for two seasons.
