Chuck looks and dresses similar to L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology. Is this similarity meant to be some kind of message or symbolism about Scientology?

Wow, I've never seen pictures of L. Ron Hubbard. You're absolutely right.

I think it might just be a coincidence that Mckean resembles Hubbard.

I wonder though with the validity of his allergy to electricity if that is supposed to be a message about the validity of Scientology.
