That Gene was going to strangle Carole B.? I thought that they were really going to send him off the depend and have him do it. Especially after the urn part.

But watch -- none of the Saul Goodman stuff will stick, because all of the witnesses are dead or missing. Gene will get 5-10 in the federal pen for conspiracy to commit a department store burglary, for merchandise with a value of over 5K. The identity theft stuff won't stick, but they can bust him on the stolen watches for a couple more years.
No way these people are going to give us something that lame for an ending. His secretary is alive, Buell is alive. Plenty of others are alive. He is a lawyer, he left a paper trail.
They just aren't that dumb and lazy.
So why is he on the run? I would say money laundering. The Saul Goodman stuff will stick.
