They are supposed to be the best killers and they failed to Kill Lalo by giving themselves away with an bad shot while they still had the element of surprise.
This is one of the worst action scene since the Twins "terminatored" a place full of armed men 2 or 3 seasons ago .

shareI didn't care for the finale because it makes Gus look reckless & frankly kind of dumb. Especially throwing Nacho into the mix at the last minute. Not to mention the lack of resolution to most of the story arcs which are going to spill over to what has been announced as the final season, suggesting a rushed, cramfest to get everyone into their Breaking Bad starting positions.

The team looks awful.
I think the intention was to surprise us with Lalo surviving (they kept repeating he was a dead man, and we know he's not in BB). But they didn't write a solid action scene to make this turnout acceptable.
I think Nacho and Lalo will take each other out.
