Mike is my favorite character.

But I have some questions:

Why does he work in a parking lot? Does he really need the money? And isn't that a rather vulnerable position for a hit man to be working in (a lighted booth)?

Why did Jimmy want Mike to take photos in Chuck's house?

BTW, I loved his reaction to Jimmy mentioning the "rule of thirds". Classic!

Yes, Mike is awesome, but I have to tell you, whenever Gus in on, things get very interesting. His demeanor is scary good.

I have no idea why all the pictures of the house. Must be for future use we will see the benefit of those photos.

I guess he is working as a parking lot attendant because he is keeping a low profile. Who would think a hitman is doing such a lowly job?

Yes. Gus is definitely an intense and scary dude. Now that I think of it, Mike working in a parking lot is probably just the writers messing with us.

This is such a great series. There is such a constant sense of anticipation which keeps one on the edge of one's seat.
It always seems like something is just about to happen, but you never know what or when.

Yep! Being the prequel to Breaking Bad makes it even more interesting to us followers.

Start at season 3 to save time. Lots of character development in 1&2, but you can go without it if short on free time.

EDIT: I know people will hate this idea, but I really think seasons 1 & 2 are the weakest. I have trouble re-watching any of them except the climax episodes.

I'm not sure that I have the time to plow through three seasons though, but thanks for the tip.

I think the pictures are going to used as evidence that Chuck is a hazard to himself. Jimmy noted in particular the placement of a gas lantern on top of a newspaper in one of the photos. I think this will be part of Jimmy defense before the disciplinary board: he was only trying to protect Chuck from himself.

I like your theory, ernie. I think you nailed it. Man, is this ever a great show!

The parking lot job is likely a cover at this point, to have some legit income and health insurance. Before he got into the criminal/ private investigator stuff, it was probably his only job. He can't live luxuriously on all his 'side jobs' because it's under the table and it would be too noticeable , he uses the extra cash for his granddaughter.

I am not sure what they will do with the pictures, but it is part of their long game to defeat chuck. I am not sure of their full plan, but it's something cunning and I hope it will completely CRUSH chuck like a bug. I hate chuck so much.

I love that Mike is such a poker face when it's none of his concern. Jimmy wanted to know what Mike thinks of Chuck (because Jimmy is chatty and like to make pals) but Mike didn't even have any opinion. It's just a job like any other, he does not judge and does not give two shits about chuck.

He's a dick, but I really don't hate Chuck. However I do hope Jimmy triumphs over him.

And I agree completely about Mike. When Jimmy asked him about Chuck, he just looked at him. I respect him also.
He returned the money because he doesn't like to take money for that kind of thing. Mike is my favorite character by far.
