I mean I'm genuinely sad cause this cast, plot and an R rating is beyond awesome! It got be able to get a lil more pull from overseas cause of some of the foreigners involved but we all know in the US this will be very lucky to make 30 mil. For that reason i cut bait on my lions gate stock, that studio is fkd bad now.

shareI actually like lions gate thats why I had a lot of stock with them at one time. However since I'm investing a lot of money Ive had to change the way I think to the way of the hollywood jewish producer mongrel. I love R rated films, great actors and hard sci-fi like this film but its a marketing nightmare. The film cost over 30 mil to make and stars people no one really cares about anymore.
Gal Gadot is beautiful but I don't think she can sell a film like this by herself. It faces a lot of competition and I don't think they're marketing it at all from what I've seen I think they've given up on it.
I actually like it when good films don't succeed, that way I feel like I know a secret no one else knows haha. For instance the entire universe took a unanimous dump on Blackhat, but I saw it at the theater anyway and really enjoyed it. This seems like it might be another one of those films.
shareYea but the problem is is that hollywood already has it in their head that adults don't see films in the theatre anymore and that these big budget R rated films are worthless. If this fails it proves them right and we will only get pg-13 watered down shyt from now on. I know what you're saying tho and not that I'm not a part owner in lions gate I'm free to look at it jet as a film and not as business.
