So two films in 2015 with Ryan Reynolds switching minds?

I've noticed criminal seems to be very similar to another Reynolds movie called Self/Less they both have something to do with switching conciseness. Hopefully for him at least one of them can be good, the guy needs a hit.

Also I kinda getting a vibe that Criminal reminds me of the Nicolas Cage/ John Travolta film Face/off. Concept of criminal reminds me of that excepts its mind swap instead of face. Hell in the Trivia of Criminal it even says Nic Cage denied a role.Perhaps he denied the role because it felt to similar?

My wife and I said the same things. Even the face off comparison.

Deadpool was Reynolds "hit".

Man, getting Nicolas Cage to be in this would be the icing on the cake as far as the superhero cast is concerned.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

I was watchinh the trailer and kept thinking wow this seems similar to Selfless and then saw Ryan and thought oh that's funny. I thought selfless was pretty decent and this new one looks good.

No matter what you say, he is HOT!

reply

He was even hotter in Blade: Trinity :D Reeeow.
Also as Deadpool in Wolverine. Mmmm nakie Ryan.

reply

Lol. Try to watch some of his indie movies for a change. The guy is amazing actor all around.

I agree. In "Fireflies In The Garden," Ryan Reynolds plays a writer who goes back home after being estranged from his parents because of his father's abusive treatment of him. He's brilliant in it. I've watched that movie over and over and while I would loved to see it with scenes that were deleted, Ryan Reynolds was the one star who pulled this movie together. And that was in the company of a cast that included Julia Roberts and Willem Dafoe.

Affleck also writes and directs.

He won an Oscar for writing before most people had heard of him as an actor.

Dude, bro, after deadpool came out Ryan is definitely one of the best actors in Hollywood. He showed he has amazing talent and hopefully he gets a golden globe for Deadpool. Honestly, deadpool proves he is leaps and bounds above any actor his age.

I think Ryan is very charismatic and a good actor. He has done some good movies and even the ones that don't make much money, aren't bad.
And I do like Ben from time to time, but would agree he can be kinda dull.

reply

He does good work in Indies, Mississippi Grind and especially Buried come to mind.

Trying to go for an informative, and hopefully something people think is funny, youtube channel so hope you guys like. Thanks.

AH! SELF/LESS!! THANK you for reminded me what that Ben Kingsley/Ryan Reynolds film, so similiar, was...! Title similiar..an d same in everything with 1997's "Face/off" except Criminal has no title like those other two.

Well, now in 2016 the film has come out, I don't really remember much, if any, in 2015 of hearing about this..

Amanda Bynes is hot and Lindsay Lohan is not.
