I Like Costner's Second Career In Darker Movies

It's funny. The guy gets slagged all over the place, but he's had -several- movies now in his old-guy anti-hero phase which I like.

Mr. Brooks. Three Days In Paris. Criminal.

These are not bad movies.

They're certainly better than the other old-guy action-hero movies (Willis, Neeson, et. al) that do MUCH bigger box office.

Maybe people don't see these because of Kevin's other mediocre 'happy' movies (which -are- usually crap). But the darker ones are a LOT more interesting than 'Taken 3'.

NB: Best line in DeadPool was about Liam Neeson's bad parenting. :D )

Why? I came into this game for the action, the excitement... Listen, kid, we're all in it together.

I thought he did a great job in "3000 Miles To Graceland" playing Murphy. Very similiar to this character.

Kevin is the man.

reply

He definitely is the man. Been my hero since I was a little boy.

So you like acting like a jackass and jerking off while getting a massage at a massage parlor while on your honeymoon. Glad to see who your heroes are.

reply

Never been a big fan of his, but I do like him a little better in the grit movies that you mentioned. Pretty decent shows.

reply

He was also good as a bad guy in "A Perfect World."

Just watched Mr. Brooks. Really liked it, thanks for the recommendation.
