Action films are dead.

Long reign cheesy superhero movies
that appeal to geeks.

Tell that to James Bond.

James Bond died before action films. The last decent James Bond was 30 years ago, now it's all style and no substance. When they bring back sharks with lasers attached to them and Islands that can submerge themselves I'll watch James Bond again.

Neither of these things have ever been featured in a James Bond film. Sounds like someone is complaining just to complain, and doesn't know what they're talking about.

You still knew clearly what I meant, cupcake! Men with steel teeth, villains with robotic hands, blind assassins (three of them, no less), it was fantasy spying and like that for a reason. Real spying is pretty *beep* boring and newer Bonds are trying to show us it isn't boring, yet have still cut down on the *beep* that made it exciting in the first place.

The invisible car was tight, though.

They have been dead for a while sir, unfortunately super heroes, young looking vampires, and skinny girls in dystopian futures rule the day. I feel your pain, hopefully these types will oversaturate themselves and true bone crunching action will return before we are too old to enjoy them.

Nice list

reply

If you haven't seen it I think The Equalizer with Denzel Washington is good too.

He just gave you an entire list to start watching if your being sarcastic you can stop being an a-hole.

I would add the Equalizer, The Bourne Trilogy, Rambo IV, V for Vendetta, and DareDevil Netflix series.

I've seen most of these but wondered about Extraction. I saw the Bruce Willis version but wondered if you meant: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3304610/?ref_=fn_al_tt_4
this other one looks interesting but I can't find it anywhere (not on any of the usual streaming sights and even if it looks like it is this one it will link to the bruce willis movie instead)

They'll never die if done right - Olympus has fallen, just to name one from recent years, was awesome and just as good as any action flick from the 90s.

More of them should be made in this current climate of effeminate beta cuck fag "men" of the current generation who instagram every meal they eat and preach feminism (oh brother).

I smell weakness!
