Stolen from Curt Siodmak's "Hauser's Memory"

Stolen from Curt Siodmak.
I just watched a brief pre-release BS interview with the writers and how they came up with the story. I think the better explanation was that they stole it from Curt Siodmak's novel Hauser's Memory (& 1970 TV movie of the same name.)
Oh well! It just proves once again that since 2000 it's been the decades of the knock-offs, rip-offs, and the Madoffs.

Also, the third of the 90-minute pilot movies for The Six Million Dollar Man, "The Solid Gold Kidnapping", which features Steve Austin being aided by a research neurologist who has brain cells of a dead kidnapper injected into her own brain to allow her to have access to his memories.

Both feature the same "You killed me!" line.

Wasn't Hauser's Memory also the inspiration for Total Recall?

Total Recall came from a Phillip K. Dick novel, "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale". Actually I think it was a short story, not a novel.
