Costner is too old

This movie could have been successful if they got a younger actor.

Make it so that Ryan Reynolds' memories can only be transferred to a close family member. His brother is in a special care facility. The brother could be played by a Ryan Gosling type. Transfer the memories to the brother...who instead of being hyper violent and psychotic is "slow" or has some other mental issue...but with the transfer he is normal.

Or I guess you could keep him as a criminal...but the important thing is to replace Costner with a younger actor with a less effing annoying performance. I'm pretty sure I liked Costner's character the least...I didn't want him to have a happy ending.

Costner was the best part of the movie. What's so great about Ryan Gosling??

I thought he gave a solid performance but it just wasn't entertaining for a full length film. I wanted his character to lose and die. I think I was actually rooting for the 2 hackers more.

On the positive side...at least they did something "different" in this film...it was worth a rental.

This film could have been a huge success if someone like Gosling or Bradley Cooper were cast in the criminal role. They could have had sequels too.

I was coming to post the exact same thing!

I got respect for KC but, he was just waaaaay too old for this role. Way to old. Spit ball casting: Dave Bautista. Maybe

With this cast I kind of expected a bit more from this movie. But it was alright overall. Don't feel bad about renting it, anyway. The writing was pretty bad/ultra-cliche in some parts but, meh, had a 50% off coupon from the Play Store.

I think Costner held it together. It would have worked with a younger actor, too (with some script tweaks). This genre is hit or miss with audiences.
